What ultrasound is used to answer, and why it is non-invasive
Bethany's own service list describes ultrasound as non-invasive imaging used to accurately diagnose health issues in pets. The practical difference is that it answers questions about what is happening inside an animal without the incision, and without the anesthesia, that a surgical look would require. For an owner that usually means a shorter appointment and a pet that goes home the same day.
Ultrasound sits alongside digital radiographs as one of two imaging options kept in this building. Which one gets used, or whether both do, is decided by the veterinarian already handling the case rather than at a separate imaging referral, so nobody has to explain the history twice.

The rest of the diagnostic bench in the same building
Ultrasound is one piece of a wider set of equipment Bethany keeps on site and lists openly: digital radiographs, electrocardiography, endoscopy, and an in-clinic diagnostic laboratory with advanced urinalysis technology. Parasite screening and a consulting laboratory round out the bench, and the practice publishes access to a telemedicine specialist for cases where a second opinion is useful.
Every item on that list is treated as a regular, in-building service rather than something referred elsewhere or billed as a separate specialist visit. That is the whole reason the list is worth reading item by item instead of as a single vague line about diagnostics.
Chapter 03
Getting the result back in the same visit
Because the ultrasound machine, the laboratory and the radiograph equipment are all inside the building your pet is already visiting, a scan does not have to go through an outside imaging center's turnaround. Where a test can be run and read here, the answer usually comes back inside the same appointment rather than in a phone call days later.
The cat pictured above is settled on the exam room counter beside the same sink and supplies used for same-visit bloodwork. None of the diagnostic equipment travels to see your pet. Your pet is only ever asked to travel here once, for the appointment itself.
